Verdant Roots
Oregon's Soil Health Experts

Cultivating sustainable yields through regenerative soil science.

We partner with regional farmers to implement profitable no-till transitions, optimize microbial biomass, and design custom cover crop integrations.

Tractor working on a regenerative farm in Oregon

Serving Willamette Valley farmers since 2012.

At Verdant Roots Collective, we believe that profitable farming and ecological stewardship are not mutually exclusive. For over a decade, our agronomy team has been consulting with commercial growers across the Willamette Valley, Columbia Gorge, and Central Oregon to restore degraded acreage.

We don't just guess at soil health. We utilize the Haney Soil Health Test to map microbial biomass and water-extractable organic carbon before a single cover crop seed is planted. This highly specific baseline allows us to prescribe biological amendments that actually work for your specific micro-climate.

Our 3-Step Regeneration Process

Data-driven agronomy tailored to your operational scale.

Greenhouse plants and soil testing

1. Soil Audit & Microbial Mapping

We extract deep-core samples to analyze nutrient cycling capacity, bulk density, and aggregate stability, identifying exact biological deficiencies.

2. Custom Cover Cropping

Based on your cash crop rotation, we design multi-species cover crop blends (e.g., vetch, radishes, rye) to fix nitrogen and break up hardpan.

3. Yield & Carbon Tracking

We monitor seasonal cash crop yields alongside soil carbon sequestration rates, helping you qualify for emerging carbon market incentives.
